Ayatul Kursi (Throne Verse)
آیت الکرسی
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ
Allahu la ilaha illa huwal-hayyul-qayyum, la ta'khudhuhoo sinatuw wala nawm, lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard, man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi idhnih
Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?
Surah Al Ikhlas ×3
سورۃ الإخلاص × ۳
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
Qul huwallahu ahad. Allahus samad. Lam yalid wa lam yulad. Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad.
Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born. Nor is there to Him any equivalent.
Surah Al Falaq ×3
سورۃ الفلق × ۳
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Qul audhu birabbil falaq. Min sharri ma khalaq. Wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab. Wa min sharrin naffathati fil uqad. Wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak from the evil of what He created, from the evil of the darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of the envier when he envies.
Surah An Nas ×3
سورۃ الناس × ۳
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
Qul audhu birabbin nas. Malikin nas. Ilahin nas. Min sharril waswasil khannas. Alladhi yuwaswisu fi sudurin nas. Minal jinnati wannas.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the whisperer who withdraws, who whispers into the hearts of mankind, from among jinn and mankind.
Last Ruku of Surah Al-Baqarah (Ayat 284–286)
سورۃ البقرہ کا آخری رکوع (آیات 284 تا 286)
لِّلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَإِن تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُم بِهِ اللَّهُ ۖ فَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Lillahi ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard. Wa in tubdu ma fi anfusikum aw tukhfoohu yuhasibkum bihillah. Fayaghfiru liman yashaa'u wa yu'azzibu man yashaa'. Wallahu 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer.
Amanar-rasoolu bima unzila ilaihi mir rabbihi wal mu'minoon. Kullun aamana billahi wa malaa'ikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulih. La nufarriqu baina ahadim mir rusulih. Wa qaaloo sami'na wa ata'na. Ghufraanaka rabbanaa wa ilaikal maseer.
La yukallifullahu nafsan illa wus'aha. Laha ma kasabat wa 'alaiha maktasabat. Rabbana la tu'aakhizna in naseena aw akhta'na. Rabbana wa la tahmil 'alaina isran kama hamaltahu 'alal lazeena min qablina. Rabbana wa la tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bih. Wa'fu 'anna, waghfir lana, warhamna. Anta mawlana fansurna 'alal qawmil kafireen.
To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Whether you reveal what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it. Then He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is over all things competent.
The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the believers. All of them have believed in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers, saying, "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." They say, "We hear and we obey. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final destination."
Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear. It will have the reward of what it has earned and bear the consequence of what it has done. Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden as You placed upon those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with what we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
Complete Sleep Dua — Surah Al-Mulk
سونے کی مکمل دعا — سورۃ الملک
اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ
Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yawma tab'athu 'ibadak
O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants.
Dua for Good Dream
اچھے خواب کی دعا
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْحُلُمِ السَّيِّئِ، وَمِنْ تَلَاعُبِ الشَّيْطَانِ بِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ وَالْمَنَامِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hulumis-sayyi', wa min tala'ubish-shaytani bi fil-yaqzati wal-manam
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from bad dreams and from the mischief of Shaytan in wakefulness and sleep.
Waking Up from Nightmare
برا خواب آنے پر
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ هَذِهِ الرُّؤْيَا
A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim, wa min sharri hadhihir-ru'ya
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan and from the evil of this dream.
Supplication Before Sleeping (Entrusting the Soul to Allah)
سونے سے پہلے روح کو اللہ کے سپرد کرنے کی دعا
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَ نَفْسِي وَأَنْتَ تَوَفَّاهَا، لَكَ مَمَاتُهَا وَمَحْيَاهَا، إِنْ أَحْيَيْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا، وَإِنْ أَمَتَّهَا فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ
Allahumma anta khalaqta nafsi wa anta tawaffaha, laka mamatuha wa mahyaha. In ahyaytaha fahfazha, wa in amattaha faghfir laha. Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afiyah.
O Allah, You created my soul and You will take it back. Its death and its life belong to You. If You keep it alive, then protect it, and if You cause it to die, then forgive it. O Allah, I ask You for well-being.
Before Sleeping
سونے سے پہلے
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Bismika Allahumma amootu wa ahya
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
