Rabbana Atina — Dua for Good in This World & Next
ربنا آتنا — دنیا و آخرت کی بھلائی
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaaban-nar
Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Rabbana Taqabbal Minna
ربنا تقبل منا
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Rabbana taqabbal minna innaka antas-Sami‘ul-‘Aleem
Our Lord, accept this from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Rabbana Waj‘alna Muslimayn Laka
ربنا واجعلنا مسلمين لك
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Rabbana waj‘alna muslimayni laka wa min dhurriyyatina ummatan muslimatan laka wa arina manasikana wa tub ‘alayna innaka antat-Tawwabur-Raheem
Our Lord, make us submissive to You and from our descendants a nation submissive to You. Show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Most Merciful.
Rabbana Ab‘ath Feehim Rasulan
ربنا وابعث فيهم رسولاً
رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Rabbana wab‘ath feehim rasoolan minhum yatlu ‘alayhim ayatika wa yu‘allimuhumul kitaba wal hikmata wa yuzakkeehim innaka antal-‘Azeezul-Hakeem
Our Lord, raise among them a Messenger from themselves who will recite Your verses to them, teach them the Book and wisdom, and purify them. Indeed, You are the Almighty, the All-Wise.
Rabbana Afrigh ‘Alayna Sabran
ربنا أفرغ علينا صبراً
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbana afrigh ‘alayna sabran wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna ‘alal qawmil kafireen
Our Lord, pour upon us patience, make our feet firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
Rabbana La Tuzigh Quloobana
ربنا لا تزغ قلوبنا
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba‘da idh hadaytana wa hab lana milladunka rahmah innaka antal-Wahhab
Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Rabbana Innaka Jami‘un-Nas
ربنا إنك جامع الناس
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Rabbana innaka jami‘un nasi liyawmin la rayba feeh innallaha la yukhliful mi‘ad
Our Lord, surely You will gather mankind on a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah never breaks His promise.
Rabbana Innana Amanna
ربنا إننا آمنا
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana innana amanna faghfir lana dhunubana wa qina ‘adhaban-nar
Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Rabbana Amanna Bima Anzalta
ربنا آمنا بما أنزلت
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Rabbana amanna bima anzalta wattaba‘nar rasoola faktubna ma‘ash-shahideen
Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and followed the Messenger, so record us among the witnesses.
Rabbana Ighfir Lana Dhunubana
ربنا اغفر لنا ذنوبنا
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbanaghfir lana dhunubana wa israfana fi amrina wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna alal qawmil kafireen
Our Lord, forgive our sins and our excesses, make our feet firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
Rabbana Ma Khalaqta Hatha Batilan
ربنا ما خلقت هذا باطلاً
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana ma khalaqta hadha batilan subhanaka faqina adhaban nar
Our Lord, You did not create this in vain. Glory be to You, so protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Rabbana Innaka Man Tudkhilin Nar
ربنا إنك من تدخل النار
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ
Rabbana innaka man tudkhilin nara faqad akhzaytah wa ma liz-zalimeena min ansar
Our Lord, whoever You admit to the Fire, You have disgraced, and the wrongdoers will have no helpers.
Rabbana Wa Atina Ma Wa adtana
ربنا وآتنا ما وعدتنا
رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Rabbana wa atina ma waadtana ala rusulika wa la tukhzina yawmal qiyamah innaka la tukhliful miad
Our Lord, grant us what You promised through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You never break Your promise.
Rabbana Amanna Faktubna Ma ash-Shahidin
ربنا آمنا فاكتبنا مع الشاهدين
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Rabbana amanna faktubna ma ash-shahidin
Our Lord, we have believed, so record us among the witnesses.
Allahumma Rabbana Anzil Alayna Ma idah
اللهم ربنا أنزل علينا مائدة
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِّنكَ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
Allahumma Rabbana anzil alayna maidatan minas-sama`i takunu lana idan li awwalina wa akhirina wa ayatan minka warzuqna wa anta khayrur-raziqin
O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table spread from heaven that will be a festival for the first and the last of us and a sign from You. Provide for us, for You are the Best of providers.
Rabbana Zalamna Anfusana
ربنا ظلمنا أنفسنا
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa illam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakunanna minal khasireen
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
Rabbana La Tajalna Maal Qawmiz Zalimeen
ربنا لا تجعلنا مع القوم الظالمين
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Rabbana la tajalna maal qawmiz zalimeen
Our Lord, do not place us among the wrongdoing people.
Rabbana Iftah Baynana Wa Bayna Qawmina Bil Haqq
ربنا افتح بيننا وبين قومنا بالحق
رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ
Rabbana iftah baynana wa bayna qawmina bil haqq wa anta khayrul fatiheen
Our Lord, judge between us and our people with truth, for You are the Best of judges.
Rabbana Afrigh Alayna Sabran Wa Tawaffana Muslimeen
ربنا أفرغ علينا صبرا وتوفنا مسلمين
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
Rabbana afrigh alayna sabran wa tawaffana muslimeen
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims.
Rabbana Alallahi Tawakkalna
ربنا على الله توكلنا
رَبَّنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا
Rabbana alallahi tawakkalna
Our Lord, upon Allah we have placed our trust.
Rabbana La Tajalna Fitnatan Lil Qawmiz Zalimeen
ربنا لا تجعلنا فتنة للقوم الظالمين
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Rabbana la tajalna fitnatan lil qawmiz zalimeen
Our Lord, do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people.
Rabbana Najjina Birahmatika
ربنا نجنا برحمتك
وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Wa najjina birahmatika minal qawmil kafireen
And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.
Rabbana Innaka Talamu Ma Nukhfi
ربنا إنك تعلم ما نخفي
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ
Rabbana innaka talamu ma nukhfi wa ma nulin
Our Lord, You know what we conceal and what we declare.
Rabbanaghfir Li Wa Liwalidayya Walil Mumineen
ربنا اغفر لي ولوالدي وللمؤمنين
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Rabbanaghfir li wa liwalidayya walil mumineena yawma yaqumul hisab
Our Lord, forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day the account is established.
Rabbana Atina Milladunka Rahmah
ربنا آتنا من لدنك رحمة
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Rabbana atina milladunka rahmatan wa hayyi lana min amrina rashada
Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us guidance in our affair.
Rabbana Amanna Faghfir Lana Warhamna
ربنا آمنا فاغفر لنا وارحمنا
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Rabbana amanna faghfir lana warhamna wa anta khayrur rahimeen
Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us, have mercy upon us, and You are the Best of the merciful.
Rabbana Ighfir Lana Khatayana
ربنا اغفر لنا خطايانا
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا خَطَايَانَا وَإِنَّا لَنَطْمَعُ أَن يُغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَايَانَا
Rabbanaghfir lana khatayana wa inna lanatmau an yaghfira lana rabbuna khatayana
Our Lord, forgive our sins. Indeed, we hope that our Lord will forgive our sins.
Rabbana Wasiata Kulla Shayin Rahmatan
ربنا وسعت كل شيء رحمة
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Rabbana wasiata kulla shayin rahmatan wa ilman faghfir lilladhina tabu wattabau sabilaka wa qihim adhabal jahim
Our Lord, Your mercy and knowledge encompass all things. So forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and protect them from the punishment of Hell.
Rabbana Wa Adkhilhum Jannati Adn
ربنا وأدخلهم جنات عدن
رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Rabbana wa adkhilhum jannati adnin allati waadtahum wa man salaha min abaihim wa azwajihim wa dhurriyyatihim innaka antal azizul hakim
Our Lord, admit them to the Gardens of Eternity which You promised them, along with the righteous among their parents, spouses, and descendants. Indeed, You are the Almighty, the All Wise.
Rabbana Wa Qihimus Sayyiat
ربنا وقهم السيئات
رَبَّنَا وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ ۚ وَمَن تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Rabbana wa qihimus sayyiat wa man taqis sayyiati yawmaidhin faqad rahimtah wa dhalika huwal fawzul azim
Our Lord, protect them from evil deeds. Whoever You protect from evil deeds on that Day will have received Your mercy, and that is the supreme success.
Rabbanaghfir Lana Wa Li Ikhwanina
ربنا اغفر لنا ولإخواننا
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Rabbanaghfir lana wa li ikhwaninal ladhina sabaquna bil iman wa la tajal fi qulubina ghillal lilladhina amanu rabbana innaka raufur rahim
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place any resentment in our hearts toward the believers. Our Lord, indeed You are Most Kind, Most Merciful.
Dua for Seeking Allah's Provision and Goodness
اللہ سے رزق اور خیر مانگنے کی دعا
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr.
My Lord, indeed I am in need of whatever good You may send down to me.
